Upon the stormy horizon, a ship glows and eerie green. As I look through my spyglass, I am chilled; I’ve lost track of the ship. I scope the entire horizon again and again. On the third pass the ship emerges from the water into the purple fog, much closer than before. The ship quickly dives again into the deep black sea, and I signal the crew to ready themselves.
