The End AIDS Knitalong and Crochetalong Fall ‘23 edition begins September 1, 2023 and you’re invited! Hosted by @Gary_Knits_Gary_Rides, this KCAL will raise money for AIDS/LifeCycle. Cerulean Orchid will be donating $3.00 of each Rainbow Eucalyptus pattern sale. We’d love for you to join us, and other makers stitching for a cause. Gary has a lot of marvelous things planned for participants such as giveaways and virtual stitch nights!

IN PERSON CLASS AT A LITTLE KNITTY
Learn how to make a texture rich, Dappled Light Beanie using a mixture of post stitches, puff stitches, and open work. You’ll learn how to crochet a hat from the top-down, and how to work in the round. We will practice on some scrap yarn and get started on the beanie in the class.
There will be a lunch break around noon, you are welcome to bring your own lunch, or can purchase a sandwich (we will do a group order from Jimmy Johns).

In this class Jeananne will teach you how to read written crochet patterns from abbreviations to understanding how the asterisks, parenthesis, and brackets function. She'll show you some tricks she uses for navigating a pattern while she read through a new to her pattern.
Additionally, you may bring along a pattern that you are having trouble with, and we'll work together to help you interpret it for success.
