Knitting Pattern: Adventure Shawlette

Knitting Pattern: Adventure Shawlette

Designed by Angela Westover

As a child, I was a voracious reader. Maxing out my library card every three weeks was the norm, much to my mother’s chagrin (I mean, she WAS the one trying to keep track of all those books). One of my favorite genres was “Choose Your Own Adventure”. I would go back over and read the whole book choosing different paths each time. Fast forward a few years (yea, I said a few). I have less time to read, but I often fill that time with knitting. I had this beautiful yarn that was a lightly variegated colorway with a pop of contrasting color. Sometimes the struggle is real finding just the right pattern. As I was swatching, I discovered a delightful way to allow the yarn colors to create my pattern. Row after row, the yarn chose it’s own adventure, and this sweet shawlette was born!
